Fruit Ninja isn’t just a game, it’s a digital stress ball with a leaderboard. What starts as mindless swiping quickly becomes an addictive gameplay experience. The objective of the game is simple: slice the fruit and avoid the bombs. But the genius is in how the game turned my fingers into weapons. I had to swipe the register with terrifying precision, and if I angled it wrong, I would nick a strawberry instead of cutting it cleanly. However, it’s a rhythm game disguised as a hack-and-slash, demanding both speed and surgical accuracy from me.

There are different game modes in Fruit Ninja. Classic Mode is pure and uncut Fruit Ninja. Additionally, the Zen mode required me to cut without thinking. Again, the Arcade Mode cranks up the chaos with time limits and power-ups that turn the screen into a fireworks show. Each mode feels like a different sport, yet all share the same theme.
Beautiful Visuals
Fruit Ninja’s art style hasn’t aged a day. It was an eye-candy for me. Moreover, watermelons burst like water balloons, and bananas split with cartoonish glee. Fruit Ninja is one of my favourite arcade games. Sometimes, the visuals of the game, the juices splashing when you cut, can be a sight to behold. The gameplay may feel repetitive, yet a challenge keeps me hooked for hours.
